Balboa is a swing dance that around the same time as Lindy Hop, but in the ballrooms of California as opposed to New York. Balboa is characterized by a more upright position that Lindy Hop, intricate footwork, and many turns. It is often danced to faster swing music, but can be danced to any tempo.

We will be holding a Balboa Bootcamp on June 16th, 2018 for folks who want an intensive introduction to this delightful dance.
